Fall Sports Announce Meetings for Upcoming Seasons (*Updated 9/7)

Suffolk University's seven varsity athletic programs competing this upcoming fall have announced their initial meeting dates for the approaching 2009 Fall seasons. Candidates for all Intercollegiate programs need to fill out the required health forms for athletic participation, they can be accessed online found here.

Forms are due back to Suffolk's Head Athletic Trainer Jeff Stone, by August 15.


New candidates are required to have a current valid physical examination from a July 1, 2009 date forward. Returning veteran candidates need to complete the updated health information.


Candidates for the teams of men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball and tennis, will need to contact their respective head coaches prior to the initial team meeting by email to inform them of their candidacy at the following email addresses:

Women's Basketball will hold their initial team meeting for the upcoming 2009-10 season on Thursday, September 10 at 4pm in the Ridgeway Building on the second floor. For More Information contact Head Coach Ed Leyden 

Hockey will have their first team meeting for the upcoming 2009-10 season on Friday, September 18 at 4:00pm in the Ridgeway Building in Room 400. For More Information contact Head Coach Chris Glionna 

Two of Suffolk's spring sports will be holding meetings and tryouts for their non-traditional fall seasons.

Softball will be holding tryouts, September 14. Interested student-athletes are asked to contact Head Coach Keri Lemasters

Baseball will be holding their initial team meeting, followed by tryouts that weekend. Interested student-athletes are asked to bring their required health forms to the meeting with them on September 11. For more information contact Head Coach Cary McConnell
