The Carter IV won the Intramural Flag Football championship for the Fall 2008 Semester. Over 20 teams signed up for the season that began in October. The Carter IV went undefeated throughout the semester winning 9 games, including the final one, 34-33 over Team Ramrod in a shootout overtime match.

The Carter IV earned their championship as they had to win 2 games in the final day for the title. Bobby Barrett (pictured) was named Playoff MVP for his big day. Barrett had 2 touchdown receptions as well as making a number of circus catches on the day to help lead his offense.

The Suffolk University Athletic Department offers seasonal intramural sports to all undergraduate students. Over 200 students came out for the 2008 Football season making up 20 teams. Each team played a 6-game regular season schedule that was followed by 3 weeks of the playoff competition. All of the games were played at Popoulo Field in Boston's North End.
