Bobby Barrett enters his second season on the Suffolk University Baseball Coaching Staff. Barrett will serve as Graduate Assistant working primarily with the catchers and overseeing the offseason conditioning programs.

Barrett graduated from Suffolk in 2010, with a degree in Communications and was a four-year member of the Rams. In 2009, Barrett was a D3Baseball.com All-America Honorable Mention selection. That season the catcher set the single season Suffolk RBI record with 68. Barrett was also a two-time New England All-Region selection by the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) and was a three-time All-Conference selection by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). During his senior year Barrett was award Suffolk's Charles Law Student-Athlete Award, which recognizes a student-athlete for excellence in academics and athletics.

Barrett  earned his Masters of Education in Administration of Higher Education at Suffolk University in December, 2011.
