The Suffolk golf team finished sixth in the 2008 Great Northeast Athletic Conference tournament played at the Cranston Country Club in Rhode Island Oct. 24-25. Johnson & Wales captured the golf title with a team score of 622 in the 36-hole tournament.

Suffolk senior Ryan Sheehan (Braintree, MA) was named to the GNAC Sportsmanship Team. The award is given to a student-athlete of each team in the conference to recognize their achievements.
