BOSTON – Connor Henry played a big role in the Suffolk men's hockey 4-3 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win over the University of New England Saturday night en route to picking up CCC Player of the Week honors the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Henry potted the puck twice and assist on a third goal, while finishing the game with a plus-three rating. One of the sophomores scores came shorthanded and helped Suffolk climb into the playoff picture with just over one week left to play in the regular season.
The weekly accolade is the first of Henry's career and third time this season a Ram was recognized by the conference.
Henry and the Rams return to action Tuesday, Feb. 14 in a make-up game at Franklin Pierce. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
