The Suffolk University Men's Soccer team (3-5, 2-1 GNAC) posted a 4-2 victory on Wednesday evening over the Mount Ida College Mustangs (2-5, 1-2 GNAC) in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

Junior Michael Missouri (Moss, Norway) netted a pair of goals to lead the Rams to their second straight conference win. 

Missouri scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal in the game's 66th minute to give the Rams a three goal lead at 3-0. Missouri took a pass from junior Ben Rollins (Lee, N.H.) and came streaking down the left wing to put home his second goal of the evening. 

Senior Danny Lloyd (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) got the scoring started on the evening as he converted a pass from senior Nick Cugine (Ridgefield, Conn.) for his fifth goals in as many games.

The Rams would take a 1-0 lead in the half, and would not score until 15 minutes into the second half as Missouri scored his first goal of the evening as he nailed a shot into the top left corner on the Mustangs goal from 12 yards out. 

The Mustangs would manage to make things interesting as they came back to score two goals in a 12 minute span to cut the Rams lead by a goal.

Junior Ryan Graham (Wichita, Kan.) got things going as his shot from 25 yards beat Suffolk goalkeeper James Potter (North Kingston, R.I.) to the far side.

With eight minutes remaining freshman Michael Templeton (Charlestown, N.H.) slipped through the Suffolk defense as he was led up the field by freshman Nick Rivas-Vasquez (Hamden, Conn.) to make it a 3-2 game. 

Freshman Andres Cohen (Caracas, Venezuela) would seal the victory for the Rams however with two minutes remaining as he headed in a corner kick by Lloyd as Suffolk moves to 2-1 this season in GNAC play.

Mount Ida will be back in action this weekend on Saturday as they travel to Emmanuel College to take on the Saints in GNAC action. Suffolk will travel to Curry College on Sunday in non-league action beginning at noon.
