Don Murray will serve as Team Advisor for the Suffolk University Cross-Country program during the 2010-11 season. Murray, a retired Boston Police Officer, has been coaching Suffolk runners since 2001. He is an avid runner himself and competes in the World Police and Fire Games as well as local races. Murray is married and lives in Milton, MA. Murray began running at Hyde Park High School.

A member of the Boston Police Department for 42 years, the 70-year old also served three years in the United States Navy. Murray competed in the 1968 Boston Marathon.
