Kristine Mickelson will serve as Assistant Volleyball Coach for the 2011 season.

Mickelson comes to Suffolk after completing a four year career at Bentley University in 2009. A four year starter for the Falcons, Mickelson was a two-time All-Conference selection by the NorthEast 10 as she helped guide Bentley to four straight NCAA East Region Tournament appearances during her career. As a senior she was named to the NCAA Division II East Region All-Tournament team. As a junior in 2008 Mickelson was named to the AVCA Division II All-East Region Honorable Mention team. She finished her career at Bentley with 985 kills, 399 digs and 399 blocks while appearing in every contests throughout her four-year stay.

Aside from her work on the volleyball court, Mickelson was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) for Bentley University and the Northeast 10 Conference.
