Head cross country coach Don Murray, a retired Boston Police
Officer, has been coaching Suffolk runners since 2001. He is an
avid runner himself and competes in the World Police and Fire Games
as well as local races. Murray is married and lives in Milton, MA.
Murray began running at Hyde Park High School.
A member of the Boston Police Department for 42 years, the 70-year
old also served three years in the United States Navy. Murray
competed in the 1968 Boston Marathon.
Kyle MacQueen enters her first season as an assistant coach for
Men's and Women's Cross-Country. She has been an avid runner for
several years. She was a three-time All-State and two time All-New
England track and field athlete in high school. MacQueen competed
at the University of Connecticut for one year as a freshman, where
she continues to hold the fastest freshman 5K time in the history
of the program. She has run two marathons, including the Boston
Marathon in 2009, with a personal best time of 3:13:22. She is an
active member of the Greater Boston Track Club, a top road racing
club in New England. MacQueen completed her BA at Simmons College
and is currently a graduate student of Communications at Suffolk.
