Three Invitationals Set for Women’s Golf 2017 Spring

BOSTON – Playing in its inaugural spring season, the Suffolk women's golf team has three invitationals on the calendar head coach Jay Parker announced Friday morning.

The Rams have no time to prep for championship season as the blue-and-gold's first trip on the links in 2017 will be the battle of the best in New England at the NEIGA Championships at Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts, April 1-2.

The next weekend, Suffolk will compete at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island, alongside Johnson & Wales, Westfield and tournament host Rhode Island College at the RIC Invitational.

Suffolk's spring closes at the Westfield Invitational April 23 at the Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Massachusetts, where it faces familiar foes from the RIC Invitational in the Wildcats, Anchormen and invitational host Owls.

Parker and the Rams opened the first-ever season of Suffolk women's golf this fall competing in twice; in a head-to-head match with Rhode Island and at the NYU Invitational.
