Jordan Casey secured Suffolk men’s soccer team’s GNAC semifinal bound fate with a two-goal effort to lift the fourth-seeded Rams over fifth-seeded Albertus Magnus, 2-0, in the conference quarterfinals. Suffolk made its third overall and first trip to the semis since 2010, but fell to the tournament’s top seed, Saint Joseph’s (Maine), 5-1.

Jarrett Davis took home the GNAC Rookie of the Year and third team honors after a stellar freshman campaign for the Suffolk men’s soccer team. With a league-leading nine assists to go along with three scores and 15 points, he became the third Ram to collect the top award for a rookie by the conference and first since Danny Lloyd did so in 2008. The Loudon, New Hampshire local, who was named GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week twice, total assists finished ninth across New England and landed just outside the Top 25 in NCAA DIII at 32.

The Michael & Larry Smith Fitness Center was officially opened for business August 30, 2016, providing Ram Nation a state-of-the-art, 5,800-square-foot space to work towards a healthy lifestyle.
