Cook Continues Overseas Career with Templeogue Basketball Club

BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball alum Evan Cook MBA '25 will continue his playing days as the point guard signed with Templeogue Basketball Club of the National League.

Templeogue Basketball Club is an Irish basketball club based in Dublin, which was founded in 2017, that competes in Irish Domino's Division One.

Cook got his international playing days underway a year ago with the Dublin Lions Basketball Club. He did not take long to prove himself in the league that puts a strong emphasis on fast play and scoring as he poured in 39 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out 14 assists in his second game. In his first professional season, he totaled 287 points, 96 rebounds, 62 handouts, 15 steals and four blocks in 13 games.

A grad transfer that brought his talents to Suffolk for the 2023-24 season after graduating from Wheaton College in 2023. Cook averaged 14.6 points per game behind a 45.3 field goals percentage and guided the Rams to a 15-12 record and an appearance in the conference title tilt. The all-conference second-team selection became the 32nd men's player to join the Rams' 1,000-point club and finished his collegiate playing days with 1,156 points.
