Suffolk men's basketball's New Year debut came down to the wire, but the Rams came out on the wrong side of a 67-64 decision against Conference of New England (CNE) counterpart Hartford Saturday afternoon at Chase Arena.

• Adam Lux is the main threat for the Nor'easters, averaging 16.7 ppg and 8.0 rpg, while shooting a consistent 46.2 percent from the floor.
• Adrian Torres adds 13.3 ppg and a team-best 3.9 apg to go along with a conference leading 2.7 spg.
