Jack McDonnell, BA '24, rejoined his alma mater as an assistant coach in 2024-25. 

McDonnell was a three-year letterwinner with the blue-and-gold from 2021-24, while he worked towards his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. 

The Wallingford, Connecticut native helped Suffolk usher in a new era, as it transitioned to the Conference of New England (formerly Commonwealth of Coast Conference) in the guard’s freshman year. He helped build a Rams’ culture that pushed the squad to the conference’s championship contest as the sixth seed in 2023-24, McDonnell’s final year in a blue-and-gold jersey.  

McDonnell filled his days while on Suffolk’s campus as a Resident Assistant and Trustee Ambassador. 

On top of his responsibilities on Juron’s coaching staff, McDonnell will work in the athletic department as a graduate assistant, while he works towards his Masters degree.
