BOSTON – The 2015 Suffolk golf team was selected to finish seventh at this weekend's GNAC Championship, by the league's nine coach, according to an announcement made by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
The Rams, who earned 29 points, were pegged to finish ahead of Emmanuel (20) and Albertus Magnus (10). The four-time defending GNAC Champion Rhode Island College is favored to win the league with seven first-place votes and 78 points, while Saint Joseph's of Maine (62), Johnson & Wales (61), UMass Dartmouth (59) and Southern Maine (50) rounding out the top five. The Monks and Corsairs received one first-place vote each.
The Rams have taken the links at four tournaments this fall to prepare for the conference championship slated for this weekend at the Allendale Country Club in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
