After helping Suffolk men’s golf to its best performance at the GNAC Championships in program history, Elias Sachs was tabbed to the 2018 GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
The Suffolk men’s golf team capped off one of the most impressive seasons in program history at the 84th New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships where the Rams placed 18th in the field of 23 teams at the Captains Golf Course.
The Suffolk men’s golf team posted its best showing at the GNAC Championships since joining the league in 2007 as the Rams placed fourth at Blackstone National Golf Club over the weekend.
Over the weekend the Suffolk men’s golf team finished in the middle of the pack at the Blazers Invitational hosted by Elms at the Hickory Ridge Country Club.
Suffolk men’s golf headed out on the course for the second time in 2018 Tuesday afternoon and the Rams’ put together a runner-up performance at the Saints Invitational at the George Wright Golf Course.
In its first competition of the season, all five Rams scored in the 80s or lower to lead the Suffolk men’s golf team to the Emmanuel Invitational crown Wednesday afternoon at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park.
