BOSTON – The Suffolk men's hockey team rides a three-game win streak into a NEHC full weekend as Southern Maine and New England College are scheduled to stop by Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink. The Rams will first host the Huskies Friday, Jan. 18, before the Pilgrims pay a visit Saturday, Jan. 19. Both conference clashes are set for 7 p.m. puck drops with the weekend's closer serving as Suffolk's Senior Night.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's hockey scored four answered third-period goals to come back and take down Johnson & Wales, 8-6, Saturday night at Lynch Arena.

Suffolk's three straight marks in the win column pushed the Rams to 7-9-0 on the season and 4-6-0 in NEHC action.
The Rams have scored 18 goals in their last three games to bring their season total to 50. Jack Kelly is Suffolk's biggest scoring threat with a team-high 10 markers, while Mikhail Bryan has seven strikes to go along with a team-best 14 set-ups to sit atop the team in points (21). Tommy Bishop (6g, 5a) and Brian Brooks (3g, 7a) join Kelly (10g, 7a) and Bryan with double digit points as well.
Michael Levine has played the bulk of the action in between the pipes with the senior goalie holding a .907 save percentage and a 3.04 GAA in 14 appearances. Will Ribas, meanwhile, has backstopped Suffolk in two of its last three games and brings a .922 save percentage and a 2.58 GAA into the weekend.
HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HUSKEIS
Southern Maine has yet to find the win column since opening its slate second semester. The Huskies enter the weekend 2-12-3 overall after skating to a 2-2 tie versus Bowdoin Tuesday night. In league play, USM sits 2-8-1 with one of its two conference wins coming over Suffolk Nov. 10.
Cody Braga's 13 points on a team-high eight goals and five assists lead USM's 36-goal offense. Michael Green (4g, 6a), Tyler Mathieu (6g, 4a) and Adam Withers (3g, 7a) have each contributed 10 points to the Huskies' offense.
All three goaltenders on roster have taken the ice for USM this season. Anthony D'Aloisio sports the top numbers with a .892 save percentage and a 3.22 GAA in seven appearances. Paul Leger has also defended the pipes for seven games in which the junior has put together a 4.94 GAA and a .839 save percentage. Peter Ciccarelli completes the trio with three games under his belt in which he built a .880 save percentage and a 4.27 GAA.
WE MEET AGAIN
Southern Maine put away two early goals and they proved to be enough as Suffolk men's hockey could not make up the distance to fall 2-0 at the USM Ice Arena Nov. 10.

INSIDE THE SERIES
- USM evened the series at 7-7-1 with its Nov. 10, 2018, 2-0 win over Suffolk.
- The Rams are 1-4-0 versus USM with Chris Glionna on the bench.

- The lone tie of the series came in the form of a 2-2 overtime tilt Jan. 15, 1994.
New England College is coming off a 4-4 tie at Babson last Saturday that put them at 10-3-3 on the season and 5-3-3 in league play. The Pilgrims will stop by Johnson & Wales Friday night before visiting the Rams Saturday.
NEC's offense is producing 3.38 goals per game anchored by the top score set-up stick in the league, Carlos Fornaris, who has dished out 21 assists and scored once himself for 22 points. Connor Fries, meanwhile, is the biggest scoring threat in the conference with 13 goals to his credit to sit second on the squad with 18 points.
Anthony Pupplo has backstopped the Pilgrims in the majority of their contests. The junior is the third-best goaltender in the league with a 1.98 GAA and a .936 save percentage for a 8-3-3 record in between the pipes.
WE MEET AGAIN
New England College powered past Suffolk men's hockey, 4-0, in the Rams' New England Hockey Conference opener at Lee Clemente Arena Nov. 9.

INSIDE THE SERIES
