Men's Soccer Picks Up Pair of CNE Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk men's soccer added to its historic haul of Conference of New England (CNE) weekly honors Monday afternoon as Nathan Harlow was named CNE Defensive Player of the Week and Mohamed Mehaya earned CNE Rookie of the Week.

Harlow collected the defensive accolade after helping guide the Rams to a 2-0 win at Nichols in their lone match of the week. The London, England native commanded the defensive unit and kept the Bison off the board as Suffolk clinched the No. 2 seed in the CNE Tournament. With this honor, Harlow becomes the first player in program history to earn four CNE Defensive Player of the Week awards in a single season. The accolade brings his collegiate total to six. 
 
Mehaya continued his standout first-year campaign with another rookie recognition, registering one assist in the win over the Bison. The East Boston product leads the CNE with 11 goals and 29 points, and with this week's accolade, extends his program-record for most awards in a single season, now owning five.
 
With this week's recognition, Suffolk has brought it's program-best season total to 11 CNE weekly awards this season. Mehaya has earned five, Harlow has collected four, and Francisco Valck rounds out the tally with two CNE Offensive Player of the Week nods..
 
Suffolk returns to action in the CNE Semifinal Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m., when the Rams welcome sixth seed Endicott to James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.
