KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Suffolk men's stayed put in the fourth spot in Region II in the United Soccer Coaches regional poll, released by the national organization Tuesday afternoon.
The Rams remained in the fourth spot in Poll 9 after it blanked Nichols, 2-0, in the regular season finale seven days ago to move to 12-3-3 on the season, the most wins in the blue-and-gold's season-by-season record book, which dates through the 2001 campaign. On top of the overall victories, Suffolk managed to compile the a 7-2-1 Conference of New England (CNE) ledger, also the most conference victories in a single campaign in program history, which secured the league's second seed and a bye to the semifinals of the 2025 CNE Tournament.
The Rams are one of three CNE teams featured in Region II's Top-8 as Roger Williams, the conference's regular-season champion and top seed in the league tourney, landed third, and Endicott rounded out the poll in eighth.
Bill Maddock's squad has been a consistent presence in the regional poll since the fifth edition in 2024, Oct. 9, 2024.
Suffolk's CNE postseason play will commence tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 4 when it hosts sixth seed Endicott under the lights of James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park at 7 p.m.
