Regis Routs Men’s Tennis, 7-2

WINCHESTER, Mass. – In its first-ever GNAC match versus Regis, the Suffolk men's tennis team fell, 7-2, to the Pride at Winchester Tennis Courts Saturday night.  

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
Regis swept doubles action and quickly picked up wins on courts four and two to secure the conference victory. 

Ariel Ilarslan Russo erased the shutout as the Rams' rookie defeated the Pride's Chris Harrow, 6-2, 6-3, in the top spot.  

Regis responded with a win on court three before Mike DeFelice earned Suffolk's second point of the night with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 decision in the third slot over Cam Charbonneau. 

With the match clinched in its favor already, Regis took the fifth position for the 7-2 margin.  

NOTEWORTHY

• Ilarslan Russo improved to 6-0 in singles action as Suffolk's ace this season.
