Wentworth Downs Men’s Tennis, 7-2

WESTON, Mass. – Suffolk men's tennis fell to Wentworth, 7-2, in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest Sunday afternoon at Regis Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Wentworth swept doubles play and won the first, second and fifth single courts in that order to easily achieve the win.  

Ben Bricker's 6-2, 6-4, sixth slot victory over Owen Conlon eliminated the shutout, however, the Leopards got that point back with a win on court three. 

Juan Velasquez rounded out the day in the win column for the Rams as the sophomore defeated Malo Leoguin at No. 4, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) for the 7-2 final.

4 – Juan Velasquez (Suffolk) defeated Malo Leoguin (WIT), 7-5, 7-6 (7-5)
5 – Sam Ferro (WIT) defeated Matthew Gallego (Suffolk), 6-2, 6-3
