Suffolk men's tennis dropped its 2026 season and Conference of New England (CNE) opener to Roger Williams, 7-0, Tuesday afternoon at the RWU Tennis Courts.

RAMS RUNDOWN

• Suffolk was swept by Roger Williams in the 2026 debut Tuesday to bring a 0-1 overall and CNE ledger into Saturday's showdown. 
• Abhi Patel played as the Rams' ace and partnered with Ishmam Amin as the top tandem. Amin, meanwhile, competed in the second singles slot. 
• The blue-and-gold managed to produce just two points throughout the entire match with the Hawks, which came from Jason Yany and Franco Amadio on singles courts three and fourth, respectively. 

BLUEJAYS BREAKDOWN

• St. Joseph (Conn.) is 1-1 on the year and 0-1 in CNE action after being swept at Gordon Thursday. 
• The Bluejays have seen two tandems compete as the top doubles team - Karol Romer and Manuel Hernandez-Plaza are 1-0 as a twosome, while Ryan Boucher and Rylee Childress are 0-1. 
• In singles, Romer and Hernandez-Plaza are unbeaten at 1-0 on courts one and two, respectively.
• Boucher is 0-2 in singles action with time split at No. 1 and No. 3. 
• Childress meanwhile, is 1-1 with action divided between sports two (0-1) and four (1-0).

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk is 0-2 all-time against USJ.
• The series has been split between home (0-1) and road (0-1) bouts.
