Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Trio Compete at New England Championships

SOUTH HADLEY – Suffolk men's outdoor track & field participated at New England Division III Championships at Mt. Holyoke over the weekend.  

The pair of freshman Cam Fredette and sophomore Hayden Green debuted at regionals in the 10,000. Fredette finished the event in 35:05.85. He is the second Ram to put together a time in the 10k at outdoor New Englands in program history, first since Thomas Novy did so in 2022. 

Senior Tim Barry returned to outdoor regionals to compete in the 800 for the second time in his career and second time in as many seasons. He clocked a 1:57.42, good for 23rd in the field of 25.  

Suffolk's outdoor season continues next weekend for its student-athletes that qualified for the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Championship (NEICAAAA) next weekend, May 10-11 at the Hart Tufts Field & Track in Worchester, Massachusetts.
