CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Suffolk men's outdoor track & field's Michael Makiej capped off his collegiate career with a personal-best showing in the high jump at MIT's Final Qualifier last Thursday at the Henry G. Stein Brenner Track. 

Makiej cleared 2.01 meters to finish second in the field of 11. He previously posted a 2.00-meter showing at the 2025 New England Division III Championships May 2-3 at the United State Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.
