BOSTON – Suffolk softball will get a boost from a quartet of fresh faces as four Rams rookies joined the fold for the 2025 season, second-year head coach Megan Cook announced.
The group features three true freshmen in Abby Barnaby, Giavanna Bellino and Avery Carvalho and sophomore transfer Gianna Missiti.
The group is all versatile in multiple positions. Barnaby, Bellino and Missiti are options in the outfield. Barnaby and Missiti play in the middle infield as well at second and short, respectively. Bellino and Carvalho will be options behind the dish with the latter able to play on one of the infield corners as well.
The group joins 15 returners that went 19-24 last season and the CNE postseason as the sixth seed with a 7-9 league ledger.
Suffolk's 41st season gets underway this Friday, March 7 against Alvernia at 2:00 p.m. at the DiamondPlex at the SpringGames in Winter Haven, Florida.
