BOSTON – Suffolk softball looks to remain unbeaten in Conference of New England (CNE) action as it travels to Gordon Friday, April 11 for a twinbill. The league action is set to start at 2:00 p.m.

Suffolk softball jumped out to a 5-0 early edge and limited the University of New England's late comeback to capture a 6-4 game two triumph over the Nor'Easters. With the victory, the Rams swept the Conference of New England (CNE) double feature at Nor'Easteres Stadium Wednesday.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (8-10) is off to a 2-0 CNE start for the first time since 2022.
The trio of Julia Mills (17 H, 11 RBI, 8 R), Catherine Carignan (25 H, 9 RBI, 13 R) and Lily Newhall (13 H, 8 RBI, 8 R) have been production forces for the Rams' 66-run offense. Carignan is swift on the base paths as well with a team-best seven stolen bases.
Newhall (53.1 IP, 3.41 ERA, 25 K) and Cynthia Rucinski (39.1 IP, 4.27 ERA, 25 K) are the usual starters for the blue-and-gold in the circle. Ellla Turnbull (10.2 IP, 0.66 ERA, 10 K) has been a usual option out of the pen for Suffolk's staff.

Gordon was swept by Nichols on Thursday to bring a 7-17 overall record and 2-8 CNE ledger into Friday's action.
Ami Rivera holds a powerful bat with 32 hits, including 10 doubles, that is responsible for 12 RBI and 24 runs scored. Samantha Perkins has brought in a dozen runs as well on 17 hits to go along with seven runs scored.
Emily Graham (86.2 IP, 36 Ks, 5.41 ERA) and Katie Melendy (47.2 IP, 21 K, 6.02 ERA, are the primary starting twirlers for the Fighting Scots.
