BOSTON – Suffolk softball wraps up its week with a Conference of New England doubleheader against Roger Williams Friday, April 18. Game one at Carr Diamond on the campus of Wentworth is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

Suffolk softball bounced back in the Conference of New England (CNE) nightcap over Curry as it defeated the Colonels, 9-6, Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Field on the campus of Babson College.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk splits its twinbill with Curry Wednesday as it fell in game one, 2-1, and captured the nightcap, 9-6, to move to 11-12 on the year and 5-2 in CNE action.
The trio of Catherine Carignan (29 H, 12 RBI, 16 R, 7 SB), Julia Mills (27 H, 15 RBI, 11 R, 7 SB) and Lily Gustafson (22 H, 7 RBI, 14 R, 5 SB) have powered the Rams' 95-run offense, while Lily Newhall has added 18 hits, 10 rBI and 10 runs.
Newhall (67.2 IP, 34 K, 3.10 ERA) and Cynthia Rucinski (59.0 IP, 37 K, 3.80 ERA) are the usual starters for the blue-and-gold in the circle.
HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams has won three in a row to hold a 15-9 overall mark and 6-2 CNE record. Prior to facing Suffolk Friday, the Hawks will tangle with University of New England.
Like the Rams, RWU has three batters with over 20 hits in Lucy Maurao (26 H, 8 RBI, 11 R, 4 SB), Shannon Starratt (23 H, 15 RBI, 15 R) and Hailey Williams (21 H, 10 RBI, 13 R, 5 SB). Vianna Chamberlin (15 H, 10 RBI, 8 R, 5 SB) and Ashley Klingberg (15 H, 2 RBI, 8 R, 8 SB) are offensive threats as well.
Keira Quadros (59.0 IP, 54 K, 1.54 ERA) and Raegen Germano (54.0 IP, 71 K, 2.98 ERA) are the top two twirlers for Roger Williams.
