Down 5-0, Suffolk softball bounced back late and scored three runs in the seventh to defeat Nichols, 8-6, Saturday afternoon in game two of a Conference of New England doubleheader at the Nichols Softball Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
- Suffolk remains .500 (7-7) on the year after it splits its double feature with Nichols over the weekend. The Rams were shutout in game one, 7-0, and bounced back in the nightcap, 8-6.
- Half a dozen blue-and-gold bats have produced double-figure hits with half that responsible for double-digit RBIs in Julia Mills (19 hits, 16 RBI, 9 runs), Catherine Carignan (14 hits, 13 Rbi, 7 runs) and Lily Newhall(13 hits, 10 RBI, five runs).
- Ava Lanza and Jolie Quintana have both scored a team-high 10 runs and have added 18 hits apiece.
- Lily Newhall (3.74 ERA, 39.1 IP, 16 K) and Cynthia Rucinski (4.28 ERA, 52.1 IP, 44 K) split time in the circle.
JUDGES JIST
- Brandeis boasts a 9-4 mark despite losing a three-game series with No. 23 Emory over the weekend.
- Behind a .444/.509/.489 slash line, Erin Hunt has registered 20 hits, four RBI and 20 runs scored to the Judges' 109-run offense.
- Taryn Rainey (18 hits, 14 RBI, 10 runs), Jordan Wallace (18 hits, 20 RBI, 14 runs) and Bells Burdenski (16 hits, 13 RBI, 12 runs) are usual contributors at the plate as well.
