A pair of Suffolk women’s basketball players grabbed College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors in graduate student Lauren Romito and senior Amanda DeAngelis, the national organization unveiled Tuesday afternoon.

Suffolk women’s basketball’s Amanda DeAngelis and Lauren Romito have been named participants to represents the Rams at the 2024 New England Women’s Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic Game, the organization announced. The pair will put on blue-and-gold this Sunday, March 24 at Tufts’ Cousens Gymnasium at 1 p.m.

Suffolk women’s basketball’s Amanda DeAngelis and Lauren Romito headlined the 2024 Commonwealth Coast Conference postseason awards. DeAngelis was tabbed CCC Player of the Year and Romito took home CCC Defensive Player of the Year honors after guiding the blue-and-gold to the CCC Semifinals this season. In addition to the major awards, DeAngelis scooped up a first-team nod and Romito was recognized with a spot on the second team, the league office announced Thursday morning.
