CNE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass.  Suffolk women's basketball freshman Ariana Ingram has been selected as the Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the Week after helping lead the Rams to perfect 3-0 week, the league office announced Monday.

In the three-game span, Ingram averaged 6.7 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. The everyday starter has played a critical role in the team's best start in program history at 6-0.

The East Providence, Rhode Island, native opened the week with a breakout performance against Salem State, delivering a career-high 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting with two threes, while adding seven rebounds and two steals in the 63-58 win.

Against Coast Guard two days later, Ingram continued her consistent play, finishing with eight points and seven rebounds while handing out a career-best four assists in the Rams' 67-66 victory.

The 5-foor-9 small forward capped the week with a strong performance on the glass, recording a career-high nine caroms to go with eight points as Suffolk earned a 54-49 win at Wheaton to stay unbeaten on the year.

The recognition is Ingram's first CNE honor and the program's first weekly award since Amanda DeAngelis '25 was named CNE Player of the Week on Feb. 24, 2025. Ingram is also the first Ram to receive a rookie honor of any kind since Jordan Moreau collected Conference of New England (CNE) (formerly Commonwealth Coast Conference) Rookie of the Week on Feb. 12, 2024.

Ingram and the Rams return home Tuesday, Nov. 25 when they welcome Lasell to Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 6:00 p.m. tip.
