NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Suffolk women's basketball's graduating junior Allison Bono has been selected to represent the Rams at the 2026 New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Star Classic Game, the organization announced. She will put on the blue-and-gold one more time, this Saturday, March 28 at Smith College at 4:00 p.m.

Bono continued the tradition of having a Suffolk student-athlete featured in the event's line-up the past three years and five times overall dating back to 2018. There have been six student-athletes participate in the game in Amanda DeAngelis (2024, 2025), Lauren Romito (2024), Gabriella DeComo (2022), Jenni-Rose DiCecco (2022) and Georgia Bourikas (2018).
Suffolk's all-star is one of three Conference of New England (CNE) student-athletes to be chosen to represent their programs with Western New England's Perry Blasetti and Johnson & Wales' Mikayla Caruso earning the nod as well.
Bono concluded her Suffolk career with a spot on the All-CNE Third-Team following a stand-out, career-high junior campaign. The Chester, New York native led the Rams offense with 13.2 points per game behind a 47.3 conversion rate from the floor. Her stat line featured double-digit points in 16 games with a pair of 20-plus point performance, which included a career-high 26-point effort against Endicott Jan. 17, 2026.
On top of her scoring ability, Bono dished out a team-best 2.7 assists per game. Defensively, the 5-foot-8 guard pulled down 7.8 rebounds per outing, which also sat atop the squad's numbers. There were eight instances that she pulled down 10 or more boards, which resulted in five double-double performances.
