BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Suffolk women's golf kept its winning ways alive as it captured the Hartford Tri-Match Saturday at the Wintonbury Hill Golf Course.
The Rams topped the three-team field with a 348 (+63), 10 strokes ahead of Conference of New England (CNE) counterpart, match host Hartford and 13 in front of Vasser (361), who rounded out the field.
Sophomore Krisna Mahendran secured second with an 80 on the par-70 course, while her classmate Emory Goodson was one stroke behind her to complete the podium.
Junior Brooke Bugajewski locked up a share of fourth behind and 85.
Lauren Phelan's 102 put the freshman in a share of 16th and sophomore Alexia Hill completed the field of 18 with a 104.
Suffolk will trek up to the Granite State tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 28 for the Keene State Invitational at the Keene Country Club.
