BOSTON – Suffolk women's ice hockey was shutout by Bowdoin, 5-0, Saturday evening at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Bowdoin broke the scoreless deadlock late in the second period when Emma Merrill netted her first goal of the season. Goals from Anyi Sun and Luna Lu followed, sending the Rams into the final frame down 3- 0 advantage.
  • Bella Schifano added a pair of goals for the Polar Bears in the third to help Bowdoin close out a 5-0 shutout victory.
