DUDLEY, Mass. – Suffolk women's lacrosse fell behind early and never found its way back as Nichols took down the Rams, 17-7, Saturday at Vendetti Field in Conference of New England (CNE) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nichols started hot early as it outscored the Rams 9-1 in the first quarter. Jessie Le was responsible for Suffolk's lone strike in the opening quarter.
The Bison stretched their advantage to 11 as they poured in three unanswered to get the second stanza underway. A pair of man-up goals for the blue-and-gold, one by Kaitlyn Boyce followed by one from Ally Colburn trimmed the distance back to nine, 12-3.
Nichols managed to make it a 10-goal distance at half as Emma Patton put an unassisted mark with 42 seconds left in the second.
The teams traded three goals in the third to keep it a 10-goal gap. Suffolk's scoring came from Zoe Peckham, Julia Dickinson and Colburn.
Both teams exchanged one goal over the final quarter for the 17-7 final. Peckham produced Suffolk's last goal of the day.
