NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Following its first varsity season of competition, the Suffolk women's lacrosse team earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad distinction, the national organization announced Wednesday.
IWLCA Academic Honor Squad recognition is given to all NCAA women's lacrosse teams with a team GPA of 3.2 or great for the current academic year.

Of the 181 DIII programs, Suffolk was one of six Conference of New England (CNE) institutions to take home the feat alongside Endicott, Gordon, Nichols, Roger Williams and Western New England.
