EAST BOSTON– Suffolk women's lacrosse put on a scoring clinic in its final home contest of the 2026 season as the Rams ran past Nichols, 18-6, in Conference of New England (CNE) action at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Suffolk and Nichols exchanged goals over a 29-second span less than three minutes into the action before the Rams rattled off six unanswered to hold a 7-1 advantage with 4:07 left in the first frame. The Bison managed to couple back-to-back goals together before Lauren Woods ended the opening quarter with her first tally of the day to make it 8-3 Suffolk after 15 minutes.
- It was all blue-and-gold in the second as it poured in four goals to take a comfortable 12-3 cushion into halftime. Bridget O'Leary and Jessie Le scored one apiece, while Zoe Peckham chipped in a quarter-ending pair of markers to the second quarter offensive output.
- Peckham picked up where she left off as she put away a goal 3:58 into the third to keep momentum in the Rams' favor. Bridget O'Leary then sandwiched a pair of strikes around a Nichols' tally that gave Suffolk a 15-4 lead with three quarters in the books.
- Nichol managed to tack on back-to-back goals to get the fourth quarter, but the Rams closed things out with three more for the 18-6 final.
GOALIE GLANCE
- Charlotte Guziejka had 11 saves in the triumph.
- Briar Slattery logged six stops in the setback.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- O'Leary finished with six goals and three assists to anchor Suffolk's scoring unit. The freshman added six draw controls, there ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- Carley Ehwa added five points on four goals and one set-up.
- Peckham had four goals of her own.
- Le logged two goals and one helper.
- Julia Dickinson chipped in two assists and one goal.
- Woods rounded out the goal scorers with one strike to go along with four draw controls, two ground balls and one caused turnover.
- Kate Carlson pitched in three draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk hosted Nichols for the first time.
- The Rams defeated the Bison for the first time in program history to move to 1-1 in the all-time series.
- The 18 goals scored are the most for the blue-and-gold against Nichols in a single game.
- O'Leary matched a personal-best six goals and set a career-high in draw controls (6). She has produced at least one point in every game she has appeared this season with nine straight games with multiple points to her credit.
- Peckham has registered a point in every game this year with four consecutive contests with two points or more including back-to-back four-point performances.
- Ehwa (3 games, 13 points), Woods (2 games, 2 points), Le (2 games, 4 points) and Dickinson (4 games, 11 points) all extended their point streaks.
