BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk women's lacrosse goalkeeper Charlotte Guziejka was named Conference of New England (CNE) Defensive Player of the Week following a 2-0 week for the Rams.
Guziejka posted a season-high 12 saves on the road at Wentworth on April 14, finishing with a 66.7 percent save percentage in Suffolk's 18-6 win. She followed that with 11 saves and a 64.7 percent save percentage in a 18-6 win against Nichols at home on April 18.
The honor marks Guziejka's second defensive player of the week selection this season, with her previous recognition coming on March 2, 2026. It is the first weekly award for the Suffolk women's lacrosse program since Bridget O'Leary was named CNE Offensive Player of the Week on March 23, 2026.
Suffolk and Guziejka close out the regular season on the road against Hartford on Wednesday, April 22.
