Freshman Jessica Harmon (Huntington Beach, Calif.) was named Corvais Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Week for Division III New England Women's Soccer on Tuesday October 7th.

Harmon scored four goals over Suffolk's two games last week that saw the Rams go unbeaten with a pair of ties. She was also named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week.

The freshman forward increased her team leading number of goals to five while she currently stands at ninth among scorers in the GNAC with 12 points.

Harmon scored both goals on Wednesday evening as Suffolk played to a 2-2 tie with the St. Joseph's College Monks.  She would also score a pair of goals on Saturday afternoon, both on breakaways in the second half as Suffolk and Mount Ida College played to a 3-3 tie.

Suffolk currently stands at a 2-5-3 overall record on the season and 1-1-3 record in GNAC play.

The Women's Soccer team will be back in action on Wednesday to start a five game road stretch as they travel to Johnson & Wales University for a 4:00pm matchup with the Wildcats.
