Suffolk women's soccer suffered a 6-0 setback Thursday night to Lesley at Edwards Field.

Suffolk has been held scoreless in its last two outing as the Rams with shutouts by Albertus Magnus (4-0) and Lesley (6-0) putting the blue-and-gold's record at 1-2-0 overall and 0-1-0 against conference competition.
Kirsten Weiker has been a staple in net for Suffolk. The junior keeper holds a 3.20 goals against average and a .724 save percentage. Julie Fieldsend has also protected the pipes for the Rams. The sophomore brings in a .700 save percentage and a 6.00 goals against average.
Regis has traded wins and losses through four games this season to sit at 2-2-0 on the year and 2-1-0 in league play. The Pride rides the momentum of an 8-1 victory over Anna Maria into Saturday's showdown.
Emma Mendes owns 25 percent of Regis' 12 goals with the freshman midfielder finding the back of the net three times. She leads the team in points as well, with seven, thanks to one handout. Payton Fitzgerald and Rachel Kelly are second on the squad in points with identical stat lines of two markers and one assist.
Krysten Drake has played every minute of action in net for the Pride. The freshman carries a 1.50 goals against average and a .739 save percentage into Saturday.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Suffolk, Regis series is fairly new, beginning in 2015. The Rams won the first-ever meeting with the Pride, 2-1, Sept. 17, 2015, but fell last season, by an identical score at Regis, Sept. 15, 2016.

Suffolk returns to James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park for just the second time this season Wednesday, Sept. 20 when the Rams welcome Simmons for a 7 p.m. game.
