Over the weekend, Suffolk’s women’s track & field saw the largest contingent of Rams in program history compete at the New England Outdoor Regional Championships at Springfield’s Blake Track.
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field scooped up a pair of Commonwealth Coast Conference weekly awards after the Rams put together a runner-up finish at the conference championships over the weekend. Amanda Walden was named CCC Track Athlete of the Week and was a member of the CCC Relay of Team of the Week as the blue-and-gold’s 4x400 squad of Walden, Amy Pattelena, Emily Concepcion and Jocelyn Triscik took home the recognition.
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field put together a runner-up finish at the 2023 Commonwealth Coast Conference Outdoor Championships yesterday at Brigham Athletic Complex, hosted by Gordon College.
Amanda Walden of the Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field team was tabbed the Commonwealth Coast Conference Track Athlete of the Week after her standout performance at William & Mary’s Colonial Relays Friday, the league office unveiled Monday.
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field made the most of its trip to Williamsburg, Virginia at the 57th Colonial Relays at William & Mary as all five Rams recorded new personal records and three clinched a spot at Division III Regionals later this season.
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field received weekly recognition from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) as Nicole DiBenedetto was named CCC Field Athlete of the Week and the foursome of Lauren Wood, Alyssa Rodriguz, Emily Concepcion and Amanda Walden combined for the Relay Team of the Week for their efforts at the season-opening BSU Bears Invitational over the weekend.
Suffolk men’s and women’s outdoor track & field will pull the curtain back on its 2023 slate at the BSU Bears Invitational Saturday, March 25. The event is set for a 10:00 a.m. start at Bridgewater State.
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field rewrote the Rams’ record books over the weekend as three program records fell when the blue-and-gold began its outdoor campaign at the BSU Bears Invitational.
