Miller Finishes Ninth in Steeplechase at Leopard Invitational
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field’s Grace Miller turned in a record-setting performance in the 3000 Steeplechase at the Leopard Invitational at La Verne University.

LA VERNE, Calif. – Suffolk women's outdoor track & field's Grace Miller turned in a record-setting performance in the 3000 Steeplechase at the Leopard Invitational at La Verne University.
Miller, a graduate student from Centereach, New York, flew to the West Coast to compete against top tiered competition and shave time off her already program-record. She did just that with a seven-second personal-best of 11:10.70, good for ninth in the field of 29. That effort puts the Rams in 22nd in the even in NCAA Division III this year.
Miller returns to Massachusetts this weekend where the remainder of Suffolk's squad will compete at MIT's Sean Collier Invitational April 17-18.
