Cole Bolduc, a four-year letterwinner for Suffolk's men's cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field teams, has returned to his alma mater in a new role when he joined Will Feldman's staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2023 season. He is back on staff for his third year in 2025.
With Bolduc on the sidelines in 2023, Suffolk's women's team threepeated as CCC Champions and the men's squad was the league's runner-up for the third time in as many years. Nine Rams -- five women, four men -- ran to All-CCC distinction. Regionally, both teams had their best finishes in program history as the men secured eighth and the women took sixth. A pair of blue-and-gold runners, evenly split between men and women, collected all-region distinction from the USTFCCCA. Tim Barry brought his talents to the national course as third-ever Suffolk student-athlete to earn an at-large bid to NCAAs.
A year later, Suffolk women continued their conference dominance as they grabbed their fourth straight conference crown when they grabbed the Conference of New England (CNE) title. The men, meanwhile, were the league's runner-up. Along the way to the conference performances, nine Rams -- five women and four men -- race to all-league accolades. Regionally in 2024, the blue-and-gold women finished a program-best fifth thanks to three all-region runners and the men slid into eighth with two all-region runners.
Academically, both squads have picked up USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors in each of Bolduc's coaching seasons and seven Rams were recognized for their combined academic excellence from the national organization.
Bolduc, a native of Blackstone, Massachusetts, who studied Sports Marketing as an undergraduate, started his collegiate career on a high note as the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Year and an all-league second-team honoree. His individual success carried over to the track as he converted to a sprinter and collected multipel all-confernece recognitions from the GNAC, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and the Frozen8.
Throughout his time in blue-and-gold, Bolduc was a main ingredient to Suffolk's pair of GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, as well as the inaugural CCC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Crown in 2022 and the first-ever Frozen8 Title.
