BOSTON – Weather played a factor for Suffolk baseball and its weekend scheduled got shuffled. The Rams will now turn their gears towards a Sunday, April 6 Conference of New England (CNE) twinbill with Nichols. Game one is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. first pitch.

Suffolk baseball was stumped by No. 4/6 Endicott, 23-4, in seven innings in Conference of New England (CNE) action Tuesday afternoon at North Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is 7-12 on the season and 1-2 in CNE after being tripped up at No. 4/6 Endicott Tuesday.
The foursome of Sam Armbruster (15 H, 12 RBI), Max Martin (18 H, 12 RBI, 10 R), Chris Cimino (10 H, 10 RBI, 9 R) and Max Iorio (14 H, 10 RBI, 12) have double-digit hits and RBI to its credit. Alex Sorenti-Burns has supplied 16 hits, 15 runs and eight RBI and Cole Hilliard has pitched in 16 hits, nine RBI and 11 runs.
On the hill, Suffolk will go to its weekend arms of Pierce Salbego (29.2 IP, 3.34 ERA, 24 K) and Harry Meehan (23.0 IP, 5.09 ERA, 15 K) to get both games going.
BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols handled Dean, 16-4, Tuesday to improve to 9-10 on the year. In CNE contests, the Bison sit 1-4.
Liam Flynn (24 H, 20 RBI, 24 R), Ryan Keating (23 H, 16 RBI, 13 R), and Karl Miller (24 H, 15 RBI, 12 R) have been the biggest contributors at the plate. That group is all hitting over .350 with Flynn slugging .708.
The Bison will likely call upon Allen Hinckley (19.0 IP, 6.63 ERA, 17 K) to start one game. Nichols' other starters John Steed (30.0 IP, 3.90 ERA, 29 K), Tim Hudson (14.2 IP, 4.91 ERA, 7 K) and Salvatore D'Anna (10.0 IP, 5.40 ERA, 10 K) all threw versus Hartford Tuesday, April 1, but could be options on Saturday.
