Suffolk baseball fell behind early and never caught up as Salem State cruised by the Rams, 10-4, in non-conference action.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has slipped in three games in a row to bring an 11-20 overall record and 4-7 CNE ledger into Sunday's action. 

Max Martin (30 H, 25 RBI, 17 R) and Max Iorio (25 H, 20 RBI, 20 R) have brought in 20-plus runs apiece to be sparks at the plate for the Rams. Sam Armbruster (28 H, 18 RBI, 11 R), Chris Cimino (30 H, 15 RBI, 15 R) and Colin Flynn (26 H, 8 RBI, 13 R, 9 SB) are consistent contributors of the scoring unit as well.  

Pierce Salbego (46.2 IP, 36 K, 2.70 ERA) and TJ Dimitriou (31.2 IP, 18 K, 3.98 ERA) are the next starters in Suffolk's rotation. Jack Raimo (18.2 IP, 4.34 ERA, 10 K) is a usual go-to from the pen. 

GET TO KNOW THE GOLDEN BEARS
Western New England fell to Elms Thursday, 7-6, to move to 19-13 on the season. In CNE play, the Golden Bears are 6-5.  

Offensively, Jack Loftus (41 H, 24 RBI, 29 R) and John Bova (40 H, 19 RBI, 27 R) lead the way with 40-plus hits apiece. Ryan Montini has pitched in 39 hits, 28 RBI and 27 runs scored.

The Golden Bears have two usual weekend starters against CNE foes in Matt Lauria (48.0 IP, 59 K, 1.88 ERA) and Jared Kuryan (46.2 IP, 36 K, 3.28 ERA).
