The Suffolk men's basketball team wraps up action before finals tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 11 when it entertains Roger Williams on the Larry E. Smith & Michael S. Smith Court inside Regan Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
In December action Suffolk has sandwiched two wins around a setback to remain at .500 (4-4) on the season.
The Rams' 77.3 ppg offense receives constant contributions from the trio of Thoams Duffy (16.9 ppg), Brendan Mulson (16.3 ppg) and Michael Hagopian (10.5 ppg) with George Grillakis (7.4 ppg) and Max Bonney-Liles (6.1 ppg) adding sparks to the scoring as well.
Mulson's all-around game leads Suffolk's 36.0 rpg effort with the sophomore hauling a team-best 5.8 rpg. Steve DiPrizio grabs 4.5 rpg with Duffy pitching in 4.3 rpg.
HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams fell in its last outing, 78-68, to Connecticut College to move to 5-5 on the year.
The Hawks 77.4 ppg offense sees a pair of players in double figures anchored by Austin Coene's 24.6 ppg performance. Rich Pugliese's 10.1 ppg completes the duo with JJ Pfohl (8.9 ppg) and Jake Heaton (8.7 ppg) also adding to the offense.
Coene is the leader defensively as well with 9.1 rpg to his credit to anchor Roger Wiliams 31.4 rpg. Pfohl pitches in 4.2 rpg with Ian Carmichael (3.5 rpg) and Drew Hart (3.3 rpg) helping the effort.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Suffolk and Roger Williams will renew a rivalry, meeting for the first time since 2012 and 11th time overall.
- The Rams and Hawks will clash for the first time in the Jeff Juron era.
- Suffolk trails the all-time series with Roger Williams, 4-6.

Suffolk takes a break from action for finals and the holidays. The Rams next time on the hardwood will be when they travel south for the Naples Holiday Shootout Dec. 29-30. Suffolk will take on Luther (Dec. 29) and Wells (Dec. 30) in the Sunshine State.
