No. 6 Curry broke a 1-all, first period tie with four unanswered goals, two in the second and third, respectively, to take down Suffolk men’s hockey, 5-1, on the Rams’ Senior Night Friday at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.
Suffolk men’s hockey consistently battled back against Salve Regina in a back-and-forth affair, however, back-to-back Seahawks goals to start the second period proved to be the difference for the Rams in a 5-4 Commonwealth Coast Conference setback Friday night at St. George’s Rink.
Suffolk men’s hockey returned to the win column Friday night as Rams took down Western New England, 4-1, at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink. Peter Nugent’s career-high two-goal night led the winning effort in an outing that Suffolk donned gray-and-white camo sweaters to recognized and honor past, present and future members of the military.
Less than 24 hours after the Rams took down the Leopards in overtime, 2-1, at Porrazzo Rink, Suffolk men’s hockey did it again as Ryan Webb’s goal at 2:54 in the extra session Saturday afternoon lifted the blue-and-gold to the Commonwealth Coast Conference victory by an identical score at Allied Veterans Memorial Rink.

Griffin Clark leveled the playing field with 1:52 left in regulation and Suffolk men’s hockey held the Golden Bears of Western New England in overtime to force the 1-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) draw Friday night at the Olympia Ice Center. Cole Scott was the only player to produce a goal in the three-round shootout to send the Rams into the semester break with an extra point in the league standings.
No. 13 Endicott scored early in each period to control the pace of the game and shutout Suffolk men’s hockey, 4-0, Friday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Suffolk men’s hockey’s will have an added boost for the 2022-23 season as nine newcomers have joined the Rams roster for their first year of the Shawn McEachern era.
