PALM DESERT, Calif. – Suffolk women's golf represented the University at the NCAA Division III Championships for the second time in program history over the last two days at Desert Willow Golf Resort.
The Rams were one of the 19 teams eliminated from the competition after 36-holes on the courses in Southern California. The blue-and-gold managed to compile a 722 over the two days to round out the 34-team field at the national championship.
Individually, sophomore Krisna Mahendran stood out for the Rams. She carded a 170 over the two-day competition with an 87 on day one and shaved four strokes off that performance on the second play day.
Emory Goodson, meanwhile, had a card of 177.
Junior Brooke Bugajewski and freshman Lauren Phelan finished one after another with a 187 and 188, respectively.
Sophomore Alexia Hill rounded out the Rams on the course with a 200.
