BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team continues its homestand with its first midweek matchup of 2018 as Anna Maria stops by East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium Wednesday, Sept. 12 for a 7 p.m. first-kick.

The Suffolk women's soccer team kept Ram Nation on the edge of its seats Saturday afternoon with an overtime thriller against Regis. The Rams came up just short in its GNAC opener, however, as the Pride scored the golden goal in the 96th minute to take the 2-1 victory away from the blue-and-gold at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

Suffolk remains in the hunt for its first win of the season and of the Ashley Van Vechten era as the Rams sit 0-3 overall and 0-1 in GNAC outings.
Overall, Suffolk has found the back of the net three times this season both of which have been put away by members of the sophomore class. Caleigh O'Brien has two to her credit, while Addisyn Lanza netted one.
The Rams have used a two-headed goalkeeper contingent in junior Julia Fieldsend and freshman Allison Rodrigues. Rodrigues holds a slim edge in save percentage (.750) and goals against average (3.83) for the top numbers of the pair compared to Fieldsend's .714 save percentage and 4.00 goals against average.
Anna Maria looks for its mark in the win column in 2018 as well after falling to Johnson & Wales (13-0) and Newbury (1-0).
The AMCATS have yet to find the back of the netting, with no goals scored, despite putting six on net.
Rachel Matloff has maintained the goal post defense. The rookie keeper holds a .600 save percentage and 7.00 goals against average.
