USTFCCCA RELEASE

NEW ORLEANS – Amalia Dorion of the Suffolk women's indoor track & field team cemented her spot as a Rams all-time great as she raced to U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches (USTFCCCA) All-America Second-Team status at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at Nazareth's Gosliano Training CenterTraining Center.

The El Paso, Texas native garnered a spot on the mile's second-team after turning in a 15th-place performance at nationals with a time of 5:00.47.

Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top-8 of their respective individual events and relays at the nationals took home First-Team All-America honors, while those who placed ninth through 16th individual and ninth and tenth as part of relay earned Second-Team All-America. The All-America field expanded to two teams in 2023.

This season, Suffolk's grad student was one of two Conference of New England (CNE) student-athletes on the list as Gordon's Rachel Brennan grabbed a post on the first team in the mile.

Dorion, a graduate student, is the second-ever Ram to earn the All-America distinction in indoor track & field as she joined Emily Manfra, who was the inaugural Suffolk track & field student-athlete to earn the feat in the mile in 2019.

With the addition of Dorion, Suffolk University now has 25 All-American honors on its award shelf, five of which belong to the Rams' cross country and track & field programs.
