BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field is primed for the New England Division III Indoor Championships this Sunday, March 1 at the Track at New Balance.

RAMS REVIEW

  • Michael Nossek will run in the 60 at New Englands for the second straight season, and compete in the regional 200 for the first time in his collegiate career. 
  • It is the second straight campaign that JJ Conteh will compete in the 60 at New Englands. 
  • Averie Denelle, who became the first-ever female Ram to high jump at regionals, will compete at New Englands in the same event for the second time in as many years and in her collegiate career.  

LAST TIME OUT [ MEN ] 
Suffolk men's indoor track & field turned in a combined competitive performance Sunday at the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championship, competing at the Gordon Indoor Track on the campus of Harvard University, led by a school-record performance from Will Manix in the 400 meters and a victory in the 4x440 yard relay.

LAST TIME OUT [ WOMEN ] 
The Suffolk women's indoor track & field team delivered strong performances across the board on Sunday at the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championship, hosted at Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track.

The Rams were led by a school record contribution from Hilma Ortega in the 60 hurdles.

SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
Next weekend, March 6-7, the Rams have a pair of events on tap in the NEICAAA Championships, which spans both days, and Tufts Last Chance Qualifier on tap for Saturday.
